WILLIAM HENRY FOX TALBOT - 1800/1877
William Henry Foz Talbot - one of the greatest figures of the 19th century - mathematician, physicist, classicist, philologist, and transcriber of Syrian and Chaldean cuneiform texts. In late September 1840 he invented the positive/negative process and he is known as the Father of Modern Photography.
